Anabel Vázquez solo exhibition "Trópico Amargo" at William Morris Hunt Memorial Library


PRAN / The William Morris Hunt Memorial Library / Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to present an solo exhibition "Trópico Amargo" of of work by Puerto Rico artist Anabel Vázquez Rodríguez—Trópico Amargo, opening June 6 and running until September 5, 2019. Artist reception June 13, 2019 5–8 pm and closing event: August 29, 2019 5–8 pm

Anabel Vázquez Rodríguez is a visual artist, curator, and cultural project organizer based in Providence, Rhode Island; Boston, Massachusetts; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Vázquez Rodríguez studied painting at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras and Photography at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston. Vázquez Rodríguez is currently the exhibition curator at Leica Gallery Boston and on the Board of Directors for the Dirt Palace Public Projects in Providence. Exhibition organized by Paul McAlpine.

The exhibition "Trópico Amargo", is on display June 6 through September 5, 2019 at The William Morris Hunt Memorial Library / Museum of Fine Arts is located on the second floor of Horticultural Hall, which is located across Massachusetts Avenue from Symphony Hall.
